Fuse loads correctly when using a power generator!
We explain how:
To protect against electrical accidents, each socket used must be individually protected by an RCD when connecting several consumers to one power generator.
All G series power distributors and multiple socket outlets as well as our PRCD-K range fulfil this requirement of DGUV I 203-032 and can be used for fuse protection.
DGUV Information 203-032
BG BAU is the statutory accident insurance organisation for the construction industry and construction-related services in Germany. One of its aims is to reduce the immense number of electrical accidents in the construction industry.
According to DGUV Information 203-032 from BG BAU on the subject of "Selection and operation of power generators on construction and assembly sites", it should be noted that only one consumer per socket outlet may be connected, especially when using multiple consumers.
