Heating cables protect against frozen water in pipes, gutters or downpipes in winter.
The thermostat integrated in the cable triggers the heating function of the cable at a measured temperature of 3 °C. If the thermostat measures 10 °C, it switches off again and the heating cable cools down again. If the thermostat measures 10 °C, it switches off again and the heating cable cools down again.
External temperature monitoring systems and accessories are not required.
They are ready for installation with 2 m unheated supply cable H05RN-F 3G1.0 and earthing contact plug for connection to a safe power source.
