Glass fibre reinforced components
The innovative components of the Xperts cable reels are made of regranulated, glass fibre-reinforced special plastic, which is characterised by its very high breaking strength. This material is corrosion-free and insulates the metal components from electrical voltage. It also has a high elongation at break and elastic energy absorption. As a result, the frame is extremely robust and suitable for all weather conditions, even at temperatures as low as -25°C.
Most effective shock absorption
The curved shape of the frame is inspired by the double S-shape of the human spine and the way it works. This special design absorbs shocks extremely effectively and minimises vibrations. The excess damping energy is optimally transferred to the ground via the feet. All this together gives the cable reel a very stable stand and also makes it more resistant to falls and other impacts to which the cable reel is exposed on the construction site.
Frame made from precision steel tubes
The frame made of rust- and corrosion-free precision steel tubes is manufactured in a sophisticated production process in accordance with ISO 14001 environmental management. This ensures the necessary quality for the Xperts cable reels. This outstanding material makes the frame both stable and flexible and is decisive for the particularly high damping effect of the innovative frame.
Optimised design
The specially developed X-shaped back housing connects the sturdy double-tube base frame with the handle element, which is reduced to a single tube. The single tube used on the handle not only saves weight, but also offers enough space to comfortably grip the handle with gloves. The double-tube feet have an enlarged footprint thanks to the foot rails and therefore offer a very stable stand even on uneven surfaces. The foot rails protect the double tube from the effects of weather caused by contact with the ground and leave no marks on sensitive floor coverings.
