Which extension cable is suitable for the construction site?
For outdoor use and on construction sites, cables with the marking H07RN-F or comparable rubber hose lines are recommended. These are oil and weather-resistant and offer a high mechanical load capacity.
How long should an extension cable be on the construction site?
The length depends on the area of application. For hand tools, 10-20 m is often sufficient; for larger construction sites, 25-50 m is also useful. It is important that the cable cross-section (e.g. 1.5 mm² or 2.5 mm²) matches the power consumption of the devices.
What degree of protection is required on construction sites?
