Inrush current limiters reduce current peaks that occur when electrical devices are switched on and thus ensure a permanent power supply on the construction site. They are usually used when working with welding equipment, angle grinders or circular saws, for example, and therefore enable safe working with heavy equipment.

When appliances are switched on, very high inrush currents occur for a short time, causing the fuse to blow. Inrush current limiters dampen these brief current peaks and reduce the value so that the fuse is not triggered.

The inrush current limiter does not work if several devices are connected at the same time!
